Software and hardware keyboard on the iPad

I am sure you can get a Dvorak software keyboard layout for the iPad if you jailbreak it. If you don’t, you options are only “QUERTY”, “AZERTY”, and “QUERTZ”. That is, you can change your software keyboard to those layout. However, If you have a different hardware keyboard other than the US, you’re in luck. You can go to the keyboard settings on the iPad and change the hardware keyboard settings to Dvorak, US international – PC, US extended, british, french, german, Spanish – ISO, italian, Dutch, and Belgian. The same is pretty much true withe the iPhone with the iOS 4 update. You should be able to connect a physical keyboard via bluetooth. I don’t think you can connect via the iPad camera connection kit.
